About Tara Humphrey

Tara Humphrey is a primary care consultant, podcast host, and founder of THC Primary Care and the voice behind The Business of Healthcare.

The Business of Healthcare exists to do something most platforms don’t: give you genuine behind-the-scenes access to some of the UK’s most prominent health and care leaders. Real conversations, honest insight, and the kind of detail that rarely makes it into official communications.

Over more than a decade, I’ve built one of primary care’s most recognised independent platforms from the ground up, a blog with over 300,000 views, a podcast that has passed 370 episodes, and a consultancy that has worked with over 300 Primary Care Networks across England.

For those working in health and care leadership, I bring the practical experience of someone who has sat in the room, as an interim PCN Business Manager, a strategic facilitator, and a trusted adviser to clinical directors and managers across the country.
